Cincy Bearcats at St. Johns Red Storm

January 22nd 2011 17:29
Well we produced another profitable night last night. Picking up the free play win here with the under and then I was 2-1 with my paid plays. I have a great 3 pack of plays up for my paid plays today and here is what I like for a free play today.

Cincinnati Bearcats (16-3, 3-3) head out on the road today and will take on the St. John’s Red Storm (11-6, 4-3) in this Big East Conference matchup. I have a nice play on the total in this game for everyone to jump on.

The total for this game opened at 130.5 and has now been bet down to 129.5 at most outlets. Make sure you get the best value on this play by shopping around at a few books.

Cincinnati comes into this game playing outstanding defense this year. This Bearcats team is only allowing 60 points per game on the road while scoring only 63.2 point on offense. The Bearcats have seen the total go under in 6 of their 7 road games this season and the under is 0-6 against teams that are above .500 this year. The Bearcats have played 6 conference game already and the under is 5-1 for them in conference. As an underdog on the year Cincinnati has seen the under go 3-0. The under is actually 11-5 in the Bearcats last 16 games after a straight up loss.

St. John’s comes into this game not having that bad of a year where they are 6-2 at home. The Red Storm has seen the under go 3-4 at home this year. They are allowing just 63.5 points per game at home this year and scoring 69.1 points on their home floor on the offensive side of the ball. The under is 3-3 in conference play for St. John’s this year and 2-1 in conference play at home on the year. The under is 7-2 in St. John’s last 9 games off a SU loss of 20 or more points. The under is 5-1 in St. John’s last 6 games as a home favorite of .5-6.5.

Look for these two teams to play great defense tonight. Neither of these teams’ scores out of the building so the defense should be tight tonight and the possessions should be about average. I feel the books just opened this game a little too high, look for this game to finish in the 124-127 ranges. Play the under in this game tonight and cash that ticket. Don’t forget to jump on board with the paid plays. 4-3 the last 3 days with paid plays and 2-1 with my top plays. I have a Home underdog tonight as my top play that the books did not give enough respect to due to who they are playing.
