Fantasy Baseball Update 6/4/12
June 4th 2012 20:47
Yesterday was a nice day for my fantasy games I played in. Cashed in on two of the three games I played with a lot of those guys I put in my blog had huge days. Carlos Zambrano was probably the biggest with his 7 and 2/3 innings pitched, 7 strikeouts and 1 earned run.
We don't have much of a card today for baseball with just 7 games being played so I am going to sit and watch today and not get involved in any games.
For those of you that are looking to get into some daily games here are a few tips.
Stay away from Scott Feldman from Texas. Feldman has failed to clear 5 innings pitched his last 3 games while allowing 11 runs total the last 3 games. He should be the odd one out when Roy Oswalt joins the team.
Joe Saunders is probably another guy I would stay away from tonight. Saunders gets to face a red hot Colorado offense that is hitting .273 against him lifetime. Saunders at home this season is 2-3 with a 5.97 ERA. He could be in for a rough night tonight.
A few hitters who could have big nights tonight are as followed:
Michael Cuddyer is hitting .364 his last 7 games with a slugging % of .727. Cuddyer is a career .667 hitter against Joe Saunders whom he will face tonight.
Josh Reddick is starting to heat up again (.273 L6) and now gets the opportunity to feast on the struggling Scott Feldman tonight.
Paul Goldschmidt has been on fire, hitting .455 his last 6 games with a slugging % of .955.
Well there are a few guys I like on tonight's small card.
As always good luck everyone! Make it a profitable night if you get in some fantasy action.
