Kansas at Colorado

January 25th 2011 23:37
Ok everyone that was a bad call by me last night on the Delaware. They got beat by 20 points and if you look at the box score it could have been a lot worse. The Blue Hens only shot 30.4% from the field and that is not going to keep you in games. Well the 3 game winning streak came to an end but I will get it back tonight.

Free Play Today: Colorado 7.5…..

I know that Kansas could be the best team in the country and they lost a game the other day at home to Texas that they had a 12 point lead going into half. Just remember that they were mentally exhausted from the loss of one of their players’ mom. It was a late night the night before and you saw the exhaustion kick in on them. The big question for this game is how the rebound from that first loss of the season?

Kansas enters tonight matchup as the #6 team in the Country. The Jayhawks are 18-1 SU this year 8-9 ATS and 3-1 SU in conference going 1-3 ATS. Kansas is averaging 78.5 points per game on the road this year while allowing 66.8 points per game. The Jayhawks are 4-3 ATS on the year on the road but just 2-2 ATS their last 5 road games. The Jayhawks have struggled as of late covering spreads against teams above .500 going just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games against teams above .500. The Jayhawks are 6-0-1 ATS their last 7 games after a SU loss. Kansas though is only 1-5 ATS their last 6 games against a team with a winning % above .600. Kansas is only 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings between these two teams.

Colorado comes into this game have a solid season themselves. The Buffalos are 14-6 SU on the year and 11-0 at home while going 6-7 ATS on the year and 4-1 ATS at home on the year. The Buffalos are 3-2 SU in conference this year while gong just 2-3 ATS but are 2-1 ATS as an underdog in conference play. Colorado can score points. The Buffalos are averaging 88.4 points per game at home while allowing 66.7 points on defense. Colorado is 4-1 ATS their last 5 games against teams with a road winning % greater then .600. Colorado is 5-1 ATS the last 6 games between these two teams and the underdog is 5-1 ATS the last 6 games between these two teams.

Look for this place to be rocking tonight. Colorado is having a good season so far so the crowd support should not be a problem in this one. Kansas is going to head into a very hostile environment tonight and better be careful because Colorado could win this game outright if Kansas is not completely focused. I do feel though that Kansas will win this game but I expect Colorado to keep this game close. I recommend playing the home underdog tonight to cash this ticket.
