North Texas at La Lafayette
January 27th 2011 21:49
Last night was just a disgrace from what I saw from Oklahoma State. The Cowboys let Texas Shoot over 54% from three point land and over 46% from the field. Oklahoma State was one for 11 from three point land and only shot 32% from the field. Not going to win games shooting like that. That is ok. We are still 4-2 on the free plays the last six days. I will rebound tonight with another winner.
Free Play: North Texas and La Lafayette over 151.
North Texas (16-4, 5-2) will head out on the road tonight to take on La. Lafayette (5-14, 2-5) in this Sun Belt Conference matchup scheduled to tip-off at 8:05 p.m. eastern standard time.
The opening line on this game has the North Texas as a four point favorite and a total set at 150. The line has gone down on North Texas to -3.5 at most outlets with the total going up to 151 and 152 at most outlets.
North Texas is having a very good season so far. The Mean Green is 12-0 at home on the year but just 4-4 away from home. North Texas is averaging 73.9 points per game on the road this season and allowing 76.2 points per game. The last five games North Texas is averaging 80.2 points per game and allowing 74 points per game. The over is 4-1 for North Texas this year on the road this season. The over is 6-1 for North Texas this season in conference. North Texas has seen the over go 4-1 in game this season against teams under .500. The over is 3-0 this season for the Mean Green when the total is among 150-159.5.The over is 5-0 in the last five games for North Texas. The over is 4-1 this season when playing on three or more days rest.
La Lafayette comes into this game struggling on the season just 5-14 on the year but they are 5-4 at home on the season. La Lafayette is averaging 80.1 points per game at home on the season whiles allowing 76.9 points per game. The Ragin’ Cajuns over the last five games are averaging 80.4 points per game and allowing 75.4 points per game. La Lafayette has seen the over go 4-1 this year at home. The over is 3-1 this season for La Lafayette after a win the previous game. The over is 5-2 this season for La Lafayette in conference play. The over is 6-0 the last six games for La Lafayette. The over is 4-1 this season for La Lafayette when playing on three days of rest or more. The over is 5-2 in La Lafayette’s last seven games as an underdog.
These two teams play a very fast pace game. The two of these teams should see about 73 possessions each tonight. The defense is limited in these two teams’ games so we should see a lot of uncontested shots. Look for this game to finish close to about 160 points, my personal numbers have this finishing about 154 points so lets play the over tonight and get back to winning ways.
