Xavierr at St. Bonaventure

Let me start by saying we picked up a nice win last night on Alabama getting the outright over Kentucky. Let’s hope I can produce another winner tonight with this College Basketball game that I found.

Xavier comes into this contest playing great basketball as of late. They are 3-0 SU the last 3 games going 2-1 ATS. In those 3 games they are averaging 77.3 points per game while allowing just 57 points per game. Xavier though has had road struggles this year. Xavier is 1-3 SU on the road while going 1-3 ATS in those games. Xavier’s downfall on the road this year is a struggling offense. They are averaging just 62.4 points per game away from home this year which is 14 points lower then what they average at home. The defense has not played horrible away from home they are allowing just 61.2 points per game away from home. The Musketeers are going to have their hands full tonight since St. Bonaventure is an outstanding home court shooting team.
St. Bonaventure is 5-2 at home this year and is averaging 80.7 points per game on their home floor. This team is shooting 47.2 % at home. They will get more second chance points then Xavier since Xavier ranks in the bottom 10 out of 345 teams in offensive rebounds. St. Bonaventure downfall is their defense at home. This team is allowing 79.3 points per game on their home floor. They are going to have to turn this into a shootout if they plan on competing in this game.
I really like St. Bonaventure to compete in this game. I just feel that 5 points it too much to be giving to a team that will get more second chance points then you that shoot much better at home then what you do on the road. Knowing that Xavier has a big matchup with Temple on Saturday they could be looking past this St. Bonaventure team who will keep this game close. I say take the 5 with the home dog.
